About Bleu Canoe
North Georgia’s Premier Restaurant & Tiny Cabin Retreat

Our Story
Bleu Canoe was founded by Jim and Lee White, a husband-and-wife team who bring decades of hospitality experience and a passion for creating memorable experiences. Jim, the former owner of Harry Bissett’s in Athens, is renowned for his dedication to delicious food and warm, welcoming service. Together, Jim and Lee have built a place where every guest feels like family—whether you’re here for a romantic weekend, a family vacation, or a group adventure.
Nestled on 23 scenic acres in the North Georgia Mountains, just a stone’s throw from Tallulah Falls, Bleu Canoe is a one-of-a-kind destination where rustic charm meets modern comfort. Whether you’re seeking a peaceful mountain getaway, a memorable meal, or an adventure-filled escape, Bleu Canoe offers the perfect blend of cozy accommodations, authentic Cajun-American cuisine, and outdoor fun—all set against the breathtaking backdrop of Georgia’s natural beauty.
